Golf in Wrexham - Where to stay and play

This being frontier country, there are plenty of historic sites, fortresses and castles which remind us of the area's turbulent past.

Thankfully now all is peaceful, allowing the visitor to immerse themselves in centuries of history and culture. Delight in playing on unhurried championship golf courses, walking the many long distance trails, whitewater canoeing on the River Dee and making a canal boat trip over Telford's famous aqueduct.

Enjoy your visit.

Our featured club website this month is Dewstow Golf Club, Monmouthshire

Situated in the South East corner of South Wales, Dewstow Golf Club with its two great golf courses is ideally located for society and corporate days. Dewstow is approximately 5 miles from both Severn crossings and specialises in small and large golf days of up to 200 people. When you visit and enjoy this friendly golf course you can also spend time at the nearby Hidden Gardens which are linked to the golf course. If your partner is a non-golfer, the perfect place to visit while you enjoy a round of golf. more info...
