Golf in Cheshire - Where to stay and play

The stableford system started here - well Dr Frank Stableford worked it all out on the links at Wilmslow. From Alvaston and Birchwood through to Romiley and Shrigley Hall, Cheshire's mostly parkland courses are well priced, well presented and we know you'll enjoy playing them.

Hotels with golf abound in Cheshire with De Vere's Mottram Hall and Carden Park amongst the choice. Now golfers have plenty to see and enjoy as well - historic Chester being just one of the popular visiting choices.

Our featured club website this month is Dewstow Golf Club, Monmouthshire

Situated in the South East corner of South Wales, Dewstow Golf Club with its two great golf courses is ideally located for society and corporate days. Dewstow is approximately 5 miles from both Severn crossings and specialises in small and large golf days of up to 200 people. When you visit and enjoy this friendly golf course you can also spend time at the nearby Hidden Gardens which are linked to the golf course. If your partner is a non-golfer, the perfect place to visit while you enjoy a round of golf. more info...
