The North with Regional Golf
Wonderful scenery, choose from 500 golf courses
when you visit the North of England to play golf. There really
is something for everyone, take the Southport area for example
- Royal Birkdale and Royal Lytham & St Annes, to name
but two fine examples. Then there's Yorkshire - what a selection
of superb courses to enjoy - Dr Alister MacKenzie, who was
a surgeon in the Boar War, turned his skills and inspiration
to golf course design! His talent can be seen around the Leeds
area, Sand Moor and Moortown are two or, go north to Ganton.
There are also some stunning hotel complexes with golf - The
Marriott hotels are venues where quality comes first. check

Wilmslow Golf Club is a par 72, 6607 yard parkland course, used for county championships and open pre-qualifiers.
The course has demanding par 4's at the 2nd, 8th, 12th and 15th holes, as well as tough par 3's across the valley at the 14th and 17th.
