Some
of France's oldest and most famous courses are found in
this historic region of France,
easily reachable in a few hours thanks to the excellent
roads.
It's a land of contrasts - vineyard after vineyard around
the city of Bordeaux, and vast pine forests and enormous
sand dunes behind the stylish resorts around Biarritz.
The climate is warm and sunny, the courses are immaculate
and uncrowded, and then there's all those famous wines
to sample. Non-golfers will enjoy the excellent beaches
and there are many ancient towns and villages to explore.
Another option is to travel one way - or both - on our
cruise ferry service to Santander in Spain, which is a
couple of hours drive from Biarritz. And from Spring our
new flagship the Pont-Aven will cruise there or back in
18 hours making your golf trip even more relaxing.
